I have a neighbor/friend who tells me the same stories over and over. He had some brain issue a few years ago so I let it slide.

plumber came for annual checkup on the tankless water heater
had a boring 30 minute call with the financial advisors
had a nice 30 minute walk with my wife and no dogs
picked some pears and plums off the neighbors trees
good first half of the day so far..I need a nap at some point

Got the kid to nap since she really needs one. Should lead into Miller time before the Packers game. Nice way to wind down almost two weeks straight of solo parenting. We pick up the wife at the airport after school tomorrow.

i have facebook, but don't use it much. i also have messenger, but use it when i'm trying to buy or sell something on marketplace, which is rare too.
today, i opened messenger, and saw a notification for a message request - someone trying to message me. i opened it and the person messaging me asked if i used to live in a specific town when i was younger, and asked to confirm my mom's name.
i then did a double-take on the pic and it is the girl who was my babysitter when i was a little kid. she lived in the same neighborhood. the last i remember seeing her was when i was a teen. it was at a swimming pool, and she was wearing a one-piece swimsuit, and her pubic hair was showing on both sides.
