Looking forward to this album.

The only Star Wars movie I didn’t love was the last one.

That is all. Tom Petty.

star wars is so incredibly overrated. it’s two good films (new hope, empire) and a whole lotta bad films. with every new star wars release, the % of actually good star wars films gets slimmer and slimmer.

And that one leaked like a whole month before release

I also 100% support not talking about Star Wars and getting back to whatever this thread was about.

my first listen to it was mp3’s from kazaa, but after it had already been released.

Kazaa! Ha, blast from the past. Riot Act was my introduction to the world of digital music piracy.

At least Pearl Jam has been more consistent than Star Wars

Even Lightning Bolt was better than SOLO

Pinfield: Who mixed the record?
Cameron: His guy mixed the record. I don't remember his name.

Pinfield: What's your favorite song on the record?
Cameron: I don't know all the titles.

Definitely the drummer in the band.

He also mentions Watt having the ability for a take to immediately "sound like an album mix" because he "has all these templates set up" in the DAW.
Would definitely appreciate hearing more about that.

Know Trag is likely going to pull his hair out, but, Cameron said that they really loved recording with this new generation of modern producer.

Matt immediately said that Wreckage was one of his favourites and probably would be a single when the host brought it up.

You are absolutely correct. That is the one song he mentioned after Pinfield said the title and that he dug the Petty vibe.

He also said something like “that one came out pretty good” in a tone which may imply not all of them did..

Called it "a pretty solid Pearl Jam record", which, I guess, in a sense, is more admirable than just coming out and saying, "It's out best record ever", as most people do, but, doesn't exactly fill me with a surge of electricity, either.

:haha: I won't be that negative. I think it just means he has personal favourites. Every band member would. I think Stone's interview suggested that his personal favourite was WFS, if I remember correctly.
