ugh crappy run this evening

All told, 23.61 miles and 2,108 ft of elevation gain across six runs in Arkansas and north Texas over the last week and a half. Legs surprisingly feel fine. Little worn and a little cut up, but that's all. There are some very, very fun running trails in Bentonville. Hot Springs provides some great, "easy" mountain running for a flatlander like me. Ozark Highland Trailhead near Oark General Store is nice in the AM, but I wasn't prepared well enough to run any significant mileage on a family trip. I'd love to get back there one day and do a real hike thru the OHT.

Miss the woods and mountains. Already planning a trip to run/hike the Lone Star Hiking Trail north of Houston in the fall.

from what I've seen of pics of the OHT it looks like it'd be a very enjoyable hike. and a good hike is definitely in my wheelhouse.

Im gonna move to sea level because i love running and i miss it.

You should take it next level and move to sub sea level New Orleans.

We do like 3 loads of laundry each day. It’s fkn crazy how the kids go through clothes.

Bro I have three pairs of the 7 inch sessions. They are literally all I wear. I also have a 5 inch pair of sessions but I only wear those on the treadmill because the zip pocket on the back annoyingly doesn't fit a cell phone.

i was stretching earlier and tweaked something in my thigh, so i may not run for a few months

Having a cell pocket and shedding the trusty fanny pack gives me freedom of movement I never imagined. Pure flow.

They are pretty old. I remember thinking wtf when I bought them. They probably fixed the issue. The tracksmith tights I have are the same way. I have to wear a flip belt. It's not so bad in the winter though.

Ever read Tracksmith's blog/journal? Some good content on there.
