C'mon, he's Matt Cameron, he never gets excited.

I don't think Matt ever promotes the records like Ed. Ed being the band leader will naturally talk more and perhaps exaggerate a bit, even if it feels authentic to him at the time.

:haha: Touché

You're right, but, I thought it sounded really humorous.

But honestly, I don't remember Ed saying LB was their best work. Same for Backspacer and Gigaton. Those words probably come from a genuine feeling he may have after recording the songs and listening to the album. Other band members also seem excited. When's the last time Jeff got emotional like he did at the first listening party where he said he couldn't be more proud of the band?

What I'm trying to say is: it may not be the best PJ album as far as fans are concerned, but the band is obviously proud of it, so it's safe to expect a very good album.

I know...I'm sure they're all genuinely super proud of it. How could they not be? It's their creation. Really just found it to be a funny statement, that's all.
I don't for a second actually believe that he's ashamed of it or anything LOL

I get you.

So now that we have just 7 days to go, they would surely release one clip per day from today until the 18th to cover all 11 songs, right? Right??

Sorry, I'm a bit desperate at this stage. No leak so close to the album release is something I wasn't expecting. It's playing with my mental health.

Surely, the absolute latest that this leaks is the 14th, the day the record stores are playing it for anyone who wants to come in and listen. We should at the very least get shitty phone recordings and if we're lucky, someone from one of the stores will leak the digital copy.

I believe we have a couple of RM members going to the record store thing on the 14th. We should at least get reviews and some form of recordings. I don't think they're bagging phones at these events.

I think we definitely get a new clip on Friday. It seems like they've been going every other day this week (who knows why). It's anyone's guess after that how they handle the clips.

There's no way it doesn't leak by Sunday with the listening parties

Last time Ed said their latest album was their best ever was Riot Act I believe.

Gigaton leaked March 13th exactly one week before release.

I know this because it was my last physical day in the office before COVID lockdown.

I am so PUMPED for this album.

26 years later and Matt still talks about the band like an outsider.
