The third part (of four) of the Allen/Farrow doc aired tonight and was especially damning. I don’t think I can view Woody Allen the same after that.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. Was just about to fall asleep last night when that episode came on. Ended up watching the whole thing. A classic.epilogue wrote:The bestlennytheweedwhacker wrote:i love that show so dang muchMonkey_Driven wrote:The "Tammy vs. Ron" episode of Parks And Rec.

Buying the DVD box set was one of the best decisions I ever made.Monkey_Driven wrote:Was just about to fall asleep last night when that episode came on. Ended up watching the whole thing. Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
Really? You should finish S6 (you're so close!). The S6 finale is one of the best episodes of the series. And the best thing about it is that it works as a series finale, too. So you don't have to worry about S7 at all. There's a lot to like in S7 but it's uneven and largely unnecessary.wease wrote:I didn’t make it thru past Ann and Chris’s departure.epilogue wrote:Buying the DVD box set was one of the best decisions I ever made.Monkey_Driven wrote:Was just about to fall asleep last night when that episode came on. I'm blasting through The Sopranos. I'm in the middle of season 3 at the moment. Ralphie is a great addition to the show, but I do really miss his mom.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
I had a guy offer me $50 to binge this show before the election and then talk to him about it (he's a political consultant and he was working on a Trump/GOP project and had some theory about everything that related to this show).JuanHamm wrote:I'm blasting through The Sopranos. Anyway, even with some welcome and frankly needed cash on the table I still couldn't bring myself to do it. I don't know what I have a such an aversion to this show. There's more than a fair chance that I'll fucking love it if I just watch it. But it never sounds like something I want to do.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
In my opinion it's the best show of all time. I'm not typically into mob movies, but The Sopranos is the exception (and Donnie Brasco)epilogue wrote:I had a guy offer me $50 to binge this show before the election and then talk to him about it (he's a political consultant and he was working on a Trump/GOP project and had some theory about everything that related to this show).JuanHamm wrote:I'm blasting through The Sopranos. I didn't watch it until maybe 5 or 6 years ago (I was more into Deadwood and The Wire when it aired) but now I've seen it 3 and a half times.
It's just fantastic.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
A lot of people tell me the same. I really do think I'll end up loving it. I just have to get started. Hearing that you're not a big mob genre guy and that you like Donnie Brasco helps because the same is true for me. I feel like I can trust you on this.JuanHamm wrote:In my opinion it's the best show of all time.
