Really? You should finish S6 (you're so close!). The S6 finale is one of the best episodes of the series. And the best thing about it is that it works as a series finale, too. So you don't have to worry about S7 at all. Anyway, even with some welcome and frankly needed cash on the table I still couldn't bring myself to do it. I don't know what I have a such an aversion to this show. There's more than a fair chance that I'll fucking love it if I just watch it. But it never sounds like something I want to do.
A lot of people tell me the same. I really do think I'll end up loving it. I just have to get started. Hearing that you're not a big mob genre guy and that you like Donnie Brasco helps because the same is true for me. I didn't watch it until maybe 5 or 6 years ago (I was more into Deadwood and The Wire when it aired) but now I've seen it 3 and a half times.
It's just fantastic.
