Yo I'm not mad about Faegon and Jon being melded together. I'm mad because Tormund made a quip about hoping to get used to the top of the Wall, but he had already climbed it like dozens of times.

I thought the scenes between Tyrion and Cersei and between Cersei and Jaime were all really good. Besides those and the visual of the wall going down, I wasn't absolutely in love with much from this episode, although I generally thought it was good. Winterfell was the down note, except for Aiden Gillen's performance in his final scene, which was as slimey and pathetic as it should have been.

I'm proud of this post from two weeks ago and how it played out in that scene:

Both Rhaegar and Aegon were dead by the time Jon was born. I assumed it was Lyanna who named him.

That made up for the past two episodes for the most part. Had some flaws obviously, but was good.

Also, I think I saw Qyburn's boner during the wight scene.

Upsetting to realize we'll have a new World Cup champion before we see the next episode.

The Winterfell payoff was great, but didn't completely justify the several episodes it took to get there. Littlefinger's reaction was perfect.

Ultimately, we knew that would be his destiny. I just wish there was a little bit more built up to the payoff.
