Oh, Trump, you can't try to pin this on a cigarette company mascot!

::googles::

Carlos Slim is actually a real person.
"Elite Mexican global power conspiracy" is a pretty funny string of words.

Parks was eventually joined by another protester, and Wolff said that the most troubling part of the protest was that both of them started to expose their firearms.

There was this effort to respond to media bias, both real and perceived, that meant discrediting mainstream journalistic institutions, but it's got to the point where people don't trust anything," one Fox News source said. "It's mind-blowing. You can play an unedited video for two minutes that includes Trump contradicting all of these things to make your point --- and they insist that the video is doctored. It's really extraordinary."

How Giuliani isn't Trump's running mate, no one will ever understand. Theirs is the most passionate television love story since Beavis and Butthead. Every time Trump says something nuts, Giuliani either co-signs it or outdoes him. They will probably spend the years after the election doing prostate-medicine commercials together.

The GOP is history. What about the country?
Fareed Zakaria

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... story.html

There will be a fight for the soul of what’s left of the Republican Party. We can see the battle lines. People such as House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (Wis.), backed by most serious conservative intellectuals, will try to restore the party to its Reaganesque ideology — with free markets, limited government, entitlement reform and an assertive foreign policy. Others, such as Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, backed by Christian conservatives, will try to bridge divides and keep everyone in a big tent. But then there is Trump, who has — for now, at least — the crowds, the energy and a powerful message.
