I watched The Longest Week last night. And I think I finally have an idea how vermin feels a lot of the time. I was shocked to discover, after watching, that Roger Ebert gave it 1 star and it's sittin at 11% on Rotten Tomatoes. Guys, I really loved it. It's gotta Jason Bateman's strongest performance to date. Olivia Wilde is outstanding (as always). It's wonderfully shot: it has a strange floating out of time feel. It's an impossible timeline, which only adds to it's deep charm. It's Woody Allen meets Wes Anderson with some Harold and Maude sprinkled in. I mean, I get people not calling it great or the best thing ever or anything like that. But 11%?
