His reading of GREEN EGGS AND HAM on SNL was genius.

Aw man. My all time favorite quote about art is from him.

"I don't think you go to a play to forget, or to a movie to be distracted. I think life generally is a distraction and that going to a movie is a way to get back, not go away."

he was just so awesome.

I remember his menacing look in Robocop 2. I was frightened and hooked.

Ok. I’ll watch these and the second season of Fallout in a couple of weekends when Mrs Wease is out of town.

The original is a classic. Prime Verhoeven. Not into the sequels, though.

His couple of lines from Heat I know by heart for some reason.

The original is completely nuts. The stuff we used to get away with watching as kids, huh.

I first saw the OG Robocop when I was eight years old. I hated it. Growing up, everyone I knew loved it. I've seen that movie at least fifteen times. Each time I watch it, I think 'everyone says this movie rules; one of these days I'll get it.'

Still don't get the appeal. But I know I'll keep trying every couple of years. For some reason I really WANT to love that movie, but god it's bad.
