As each person dropped out the threads get smaller but the resources to research grow. By the time you're at this point, you have all those people researching one person.
As for the women coming forward earlier, I think that was referenced in one of the articles: She thought it was her fault, that she led him on, and was ashamed at what happened. When she saw that it happened to other people she decided to do something becuase it was no longer "her" fault.
A lot of court cases aren't good stories.Simple Torture wrote:I heard the guy who was head of opposition research for Jeb! on NPR today, and when asked of they looked into stuff like this, they said they did--and they tried to bring it up in the debates and stuff, but it didn't really stick as a story.
Yeah, that seemed to have been the case. Plenty of those other candidates bungled it, too, letting that primary devolve into a literal dick-measuring contest.LetMeSleep wrote:A lot of court cases aren't good stories.Simple Torture wrote:I heard the guy who was head of opposition research for Jeb! on NPR today, and when asked of they looked into stuff like this, they said they did--and they tried to bring it up in the debates and stuff, but it didn't really stick as a story.
Did you see what he was saying today? FFS Donald.Strat wrote:yea, and i understand that this is how most victims react and respond to such things.
I just hate that the Donald can even attempt to demean them further.
yeah none of this stuff would have worked against him before the tape. If anything, it would have helped.Simple Torture wrote:I heard the guy who was head of opposition research for Jeb! on NPR today, and when asked of they looked into stuff like this, they said they did--and they tried to bring it up in the debates and stuff, but it didn't really stick as a story.

By "this shit," do you mean Trump's current line of attack, i.e. "I'll sue those ugly ladies!" and "The media is making it all up so I'll lose"? Or do you mean, like, buying the fact that this is actually reality and they're we're all not having some sort of communal fever dream?tragabigzanda wrote:I've been checking in with Politico, 538, etc through two distinct phases of fear and curiosity:
1. Is anyone actually buying this shit?
2. Has anyone been assassinated yet?
I was working and broadcasted the 2nd debate. This campaign though will be talked about for decades.Bi_3 wrote:Maybe just stop watching / reading the election news. What benefit is it at this point other than to make u hate humanity?
