There are only so many chord progressions that can be done.
I didn't hear it until someone said it, but it's there, and so what? The extended instrumental version on Wikipedia sounds more like something off Badmotorfinger than anything.
It’s only slightly similar.

Gotta have those bangerz for the summer festival crowd who only know who you are because of their parents and their "hip" uncle!
I've accepted at this point that the best I can hope for from modern PJ is a compromise between what I'd ideally want in another universe where they continued to take a Neil Young career path, and... that
:D I love this...perfect!

As an aside, I've personally committed myself for this album/tour cycle to quiet acceptance when Ed throws fifty-seven unnecessary vowels into each syllable.

Thank you for recalibrating me. I should try harder to be in a state of gratitude, at this point. Anything more from them is a gift, really.
there are far more gracious and accepting people on this forum than me, but I'm far from the worst lol

The little fragment with vocals that we got already tells us that it is not bad.

Sounds a lot more like SG than Joan Jett....

I'm gonna say Mike. A lot of his riffs wear their influence on their sleeve.

Going from worshipping Eddie’s vocals to them ruining every album has really been quite the journey, hasn’t it?

It’s gotta be a Matt riff based on its similarities to You Are.

Although the rock anthem aspect of it would seem more Mike or Stone.

Eh. Unlikely. With fewer shows and stops limited to mostly big cities these days, the competition for presale tix is insane. My seats in Chicago N1 were so “bad” I just bought side stage (mikes side) row 5 on stub hub 30 mins before the show began. Yep, I ate the cost of the fan club tix and was so worth it.

My member number is 203xxx and I’ve been in since like 98. So, I seriously doubt you’d have much luck. Just my .02 though….
Seniority doesn’t matter in the lottery as far as getting tickets. I think we all have an equal shot. Seniority matters for the location of your seat.
I guess I wasn't clear. You might "win" in the lottery, BUT - my point here is if you're joining the 10c in 2024, you really need to ask yourself this: how do you feel showing up and finding that there are entire sections of non 10c members with better seats?

Bottom line: unless you have enough seniority, you can likely get better seats through other avenues.
I've never been a Ten Club member and I've had perfectly good seats many times. I don't need to be right up front.
