Not a secret - I have been abusing Spotify to connect and reconnect with classic albums.
Anyway, I listened through twice in the last few days to Pet Sounds and it just hit how damn depressing that album is. The optimism of Wouldn’t It Be Nice to open just slowly falls into Here Today, I Just Wasn’t Made For These Times, and Caroline, No. Stunning twist for a band I associate with summer and happy times.

I hated that album until I heard the stereo remix. It's like a completely different album without all the murk and bleedthrough and shitty fidelity. Beautiful really.

lol. I just walked through the kitchen singing "what about bagels, what about cream cheese, what about cereal, what about milk" and got some questionable looks.

Has he even made a great record since the second one?
I think his third record is his best. But yeah it's been a long goddamn time. And I'm not ready to call this great. It's only great in comparison to the last one, which was damn near unlistable.

I dont like Eminem at all, but in this new one he samples a very famous band from Argentina. I happen to be friends with the family of one of those guys, and the whole story about Em´s management calling to let them know that was happening is really cool.
