You're probably right. His K/BB ratio isn't as good as I'd like it, so an ERA correction in a tougher division is definitely more likely than a pitcher with better command.

The arroyo trade might be the worst move of Theo's tenure here. The worst part is that no body thought it was a good deal when he made it, let alone how it looks in retrospect.

I was just glad that he never got the chance to ruin another group of songs with another cover CD.

I understand why the current ownership, which has done a great job to fix up the old park (while putting a lot of $$ into it), would not be interested in building a new park....but still, if it's no good in 30 years or so, why not start the process now? Wouldn't that be best of the city, the Sox and fans?

A new ballpark on the water would be fantastic. But it looks like that will happen when I'm well into my 60s or 70s.

The best thing for everyone is to keep Fenway open as long as reasonably possible.

If the Red Sox started the process now they'd have no leverage to soak taxpayers for a new ballpark. They have to wait until the last minute to get the best deal. If I were them I would worry about a location now, given how fast they are developing land on the waterfront.

Isn't Boston one of the few places where tax payers did not have to pay for the new stadiums (Garden, Gillette?)

I think all they paid for with Gillette was about 60 million in infrastructure costs

With the Garden, they may have had to kick in some money for the new North Station but I don't believe they funded the arena at all

Menino was dead set against using tax money for new stadiums, with a new mayor I dont know if that changes.

I have no idea, but it's not like we're in a huge departure from Menino-era policies.

Personally, I dont think teams making the kind of money our teams do should be getting tax money for stadiums. It's one thing if you are a city trying to lure a team to your town, but the Red Sox can foot their own bill, they make money hand over fist.

Yeah, you could tell she must have been a bitch. When she was here Don and Remy never acknowledged her, where with Jenny or the ones before Heidi they would joke around and stuff with them.

That's funny, Nick Green has done well for himself. I remember him back from 04 in Atlanta. Never without a nice looking lady who had some sort of relationship to media. His girlfriend here was much nicer
