Isn't this cushy landing for AB going to start a rash of other dbag players trying the same thing?

Dude wanted guaranteed money. The Raiders were the only team that would give it to him. Then he didn’t want to work out in the preseason, and instead of just faking an injury, he made up a bunch of reasons why he couldn’t be there because he was worried about the hard knocks cameras exposing him. Then, when the Raiders took the steps to make his money no longer guaranteed, he took the steps to get released. Smart guy, bad at people, and doesn’t think things through all the way. He's literally the Kanye of the NFL!
Whatever the case, fuck the Raiders.

Maybe the Patriots will go undefeated, win the super bowl, and that will be enough for Brady to finally retire

The way these QBs can play until they are geriatric now seems to indicate a rules problem to me. Playing QB is not physically demanding enough.

Belichick is playing with fire now, Brown is in full ludicrous mode. Far past whatever TO and Ochocinco did.

Hopefully, AB is on the phone w/ Ernie Adams giving the Pats the whole Steelers playbook and more.

So now anyone can act like a complete asshole, get cut, n land with the team of their choice??

I get the fact they'll never be able to prove the pats conspired with a player signed to another team (obviously), but why is he not suspended for calling his gm a cracker?? A white player would be if he called his gm the n bomb

I agree that the owners have opened Pandora's Box here. They should have blackballed this guy.

But it should be, racism in any form shouldn't be tolerated.. especially when you're publicly comparing the guy who's paying you 150 million to a slave owner

you guys really need someone to explain how a white person being called a cracker isn't the same as a black person being called the n-word?

It's not the same but it's still something an employee shouldn't be allowed to do. Roughing the passer and offsides are both still penalties.

ok, but again, that isn't how the world works. spike wasn't saying anything revolutionary, just stating a fact. You and I and everyone here know that the two things aren't treated the same in the real world, right or wrong.

So it's acceptable to you that Brown basically got rewarded?

Of course it isn't. Tyreek Hill just got rewarded with a big contract too. And he's a much worse human being than Brown. Are you ok with that? Every person that watches an NFL game is ok with all of this. If it bothered any of us that much, it would be changed. But we still watch and go to games, so no one that does that can say they "aren't ok" with it.

Maybe the owners gave Brown what he wanted to keep him from talking about how the Burfict hit scrambled his brains?

Did anyone pick Sunday in the "what day this week will someone first compare the n-word to the word 'cracker' on RM" pool? I had Tuesday :(
