Wow, both USCs lost their coaches today. Can't believe Spurrier quit / retired in the middle of the season.

So way back in high school, we had fraternities. Stupid, yes, but at the time I guess it was ok. They essentially served no other purpose other than to find ways to raise money for beach week in Myrtle Beach. When I was a freshman, the guy who is now the Gamecock's head coach was my big brother. I've noticed him the last few years as an assistant, and even though he was kind of an asshole, and coaches for the Dirt Peckers, I'm happy for him.
It's a very similar situation to how Dabo become coach for the Tigers. Tommy Bowden was fired mid-season, Dabo, the WR coach took over as the interim coach, and landed the full time gig. Shawn has a great and similar opportunity ahead of him, and I hope it [kinda] works out for him.
