I hate that stupid effects pedal mike is using at the end of Let It Ride. He used that all during the 2003 tour. Cant. Fucking. Stand it.
What is that effect called?

Songs like these being left off of albums makes me want to punch Ed is the sack! It's Ed's fault these don't make it on to records, he has the final say and his musical taste is to prefer the punk or singer songwritter stuff. It leaves no room for this kind of stuff! WTF? The other guys need to grow a set and stand up for what's right man!

art is best when the creative expression provokes other people to experience thought/feelings that they'd never have without that creative expression.
in this way, Pearl Jam were masters in the first ten years of their career. If they'd spent the most recent ten years doing the same thing instead of making music to connect with a large fan base, they'd expand their fan base organically, to me, instead, they aren't so much provoking reaction or emotion in people, but are instead MARKETING.
that's really well said
thanks, friend.
much of my reasons for flipping out for this band when they first started in the early 90s is in that post. I've had 20 years to think about it.
Hearing the new/old songs just reminds me of what I loved so much about them. I'm sad they don't actively do this much these days, but man oh, man- it's cool as hell to get little gems like these and remember them again like they used to be...
I'm right there with you. Glad those 2 songs have given you that spark again!
uh oh, malice has a spark?!

Hearing these songs is a bit like watching a loved one with early onset dementia having a moment of clarity.

I think some one from 10c was snooping around here last night.

They were on YouTube earlier and have since disappeared. Maybe part of an official release?

Or maybe watching a home movie of them before the dementia.

Probably just 10c being the megalomaniacs that they are.

i still think they could be waiting for the re release of Avocado, its not that old of an album, but if they throw all these demos and stuff that are rumored from those sessions then it would be easier to get us to but that set. though they still need to do no code yield binaural and riot act, they may be planning on doing a lot of these soon
