There is a part of me that wants the US/NATO to just go in there and end this, and has noticed (like everyone else) that Russia may not be as capable as we thought. But... crazy ideologue + nukes... ugh.

Reading yesterday the Russians have 300 or 500 subs out there in the oceans. Most of them with nukes. Who knows if that’s true or not. But the world was saved last time this happened simply because one Russian officer on a submarine refused an order to fire based an a message they got that turned out to be mistaken.

All it takes is one pissed off officer on a sub and we’re all toast. All of us.

Considering Russia only has probably a little over 50 submarines and not all are armed with nukes, I’d say pay a little more attention to where you are reading “news”
