How about he walked on stage and said something like:
"Hey man that's out of line, let me tell you why. <cue diatribe about Alopecia, history of belittling black women about appearance, black hair and identity etc"
That would have been an adult reaction. That would have been the immense thing to do and today he'd be a hero, Chris Rock would have been put in his place (which wasn't needed) and he probably would have gotten the best head job from his wife that he'd ever had.
Instead we see another juvenile adult sized 8 year old slapping and yelling.

he certainly could have handled it a number of different ways that wouldn't make him look like a bully, but the feeling of seeing your wife hurt and wanting to do something about it is completely relatable. even for the most anti-confrontational person, you have to understand how he felt when he looked at his wife. and for people who grew up around actual violence, what happened last night was just a bitch slap. i wouldnt even call it an attack
In Harmless's defense, violence is acceptable, but I differ from his fascist pro-active violence and think that violence is only acceptable when violently aggressed upon.
