As always, quick September reminder: as far as the US gov't knows, all of my student loan money is spent on education supplies and expenses.

In an unrelated note, ordered today:

Amazon.com...only $24.90 including shipping: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... 097&sr=8-5

It does ship from the UK, so it's going to take a bit longer, but the shipping is way cheaper than getting it from eBay or Discogs.

Interesting. That wasn't coming up in my searches on amazon :(

I got Agaetis Byrjun for basically the same price, if you're also interested in that: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... 34&sr=8-15

I guess the only issue is: you don't know the exact edition. I'm assuming they're both FatCat editions, either from 2009 or 2013.

Regarding Core and Purple - they sound pretty damn good. Can't comment too much on the mastering as I've not spun the CDs in some time, but the sound good. Fuck I love Purple!

Nice. They're just so highly priced that I haven't pulled the trigger. I love those albums too, but already have the CDs (and probably Mp3s).. just not sure how much I REALLY need to have the records.

Fortunately these were bought to my attention when I had a wee bit of disposable cash, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Missed out on the limited purple vinyl of Purple, but got the clear vinyl of Core. Love that side B of Purple starts off with Silvergun Superman - could be my favourite song of thiers

$8.99! It wasn't until I got home and Discog'd everything that I realized how much of a steal that was. I will probably hang onto it, for now at least. I haven't spun it yet so I can't really comment on the condition.

Do any of you use CamelCamelCamel to keep track of LP prices on Amazon? I've been all over it lately: www.camelcamelcamel.com (website is down today, unfortunately)

Hey, can any of you recommend a tape deck that's relatively easy to get? Doesn't have to be top-of-the-line, just workable.
