Eh. Not the best sound depending on your location, unfortunately. If you're on the floor, the sound will all be the same where ever you stand. I was close to the same seat location when RH came for the KoL tour. Every time I've been on the floor, it seems to be set up in two sections with an aisle down the middle and on either side near the edges. Security is kind of insane about people getting in the walkways. Last time we were on the floor during Arcade Fire, we ended up just walking to the back by the soundboard where it's usually more of a casual hangout spot without as much crowding. Neither the wife or I enjoy being in the sardine situation that GA can create, so our go-to is to kind of hang back.
That being said, it's probably the best big concert location in the area. Tacoma Dome is alright, it's similar to Key Arena, but I'm guessing they are going for a more central location to their demographic of fans. And thank GOD they aren't playing White River Amphitheater again.
Key Arena leaves a LOT to be desired as far as sound but it's the best option we've got in the Seattle area. I have never seen a show at Safeco or Clink but those seem too cavernous to me unless you're up close.

(The Gorge is not the "Seattle area" necessarily)

I've seen a couple of shows at CenturyLink and it's pretty much what you'd expect from watching a show at a huge football stadium. Not great.

I totally spaced on the WASTE pre-sale and was right there for the public on-sale but ended up with nothing. :(

B-Sides & Rarities comp is almost there and hopefully will be released by the end of Feb. It's now clocking in at 19 discs :nice:

Congrats to all those you got tickets - hopefully they'll still be in the touring mood at the end of the year for some Aussie Summer shows :peace:

Just came in here to say that OK Computer holds up as well as any album from the 90's, and is undeniably their masterwork. On another planet than the rest of their ridiculously good catalog. Gets me every time, still.

IMO

I deny it is their masterwork. It is great, though.

Audio is totally done. Artwork is almost if not totally done. It won't be too much longer.

I've decided after much thought and deliberation that Ok Computer is my absolute favourite album of all time. A perfectly sequenced and cohesive set of 10 timeless, emotive and just plain amazing five-star songs.

Haha, I meant 11 - Fitter Happier is not a song.

I guess I should stop deliberating and get on with the artwork for this B-Sides & Rarities thing ;)

Uh-oh -- I feel a "nature of art" discussion coming on, closely echoing the recurring "Immortality"-as-proper-album-closer debate...
