The "Cinnamon Girl" thing is what I was referring to, WCT -- I remember more than a few folks being pretty up in arms about that. But, judging from what's there rather than what isn't, I think it's a wonderful album, and agree that there's not a dud to be found in that Live Archives series. Should be due for another installment soon -- the Cellar Door thing is almost two years old, that seems to be about the going rate as far as time between releases.

I've heard murmurs of the Bluenotes live album seeing the light of day, but if they're gonna pre-roll archives Vol. 2 there's the Time Fades Away (alternate version), Tonight's The Night London show, and Crazy Horse at Budokahn '76 that have been unofficially confirmed.

Which is to say we'll probably get something completely different.

Ugh I really dont know if i wanna go see Neil on this tour or not! concerts only a couple weeks away, tickets still available.. but I really dont like what ive heard from the new album. And the last time I saw him was with Crazy Horse!

I know dude. Dropped $100 to be in the "pit." figure it could be the last time I see the guy. I've seen him three times, all with the Horse. Album isn't great, but it's better than I thought it would be.

What is it that's making you guys think this is the last time? I'm not saying you're wrong, just curious. He's slowed down a bit between albums but he's regularly making new music with different groups of people, then touring.

I myself don't see any reason for this to be his last U.S. tour.

I hear ya, but the horse is still ready to go (Billy has reportedly fully recovered), and he's demonstrated a willingness to create with new musical partners.

Really I'm just trying to assure myself I'll get to see the horse again.

oh im still fulling hoping for a U.S. Neil Jam tour! and wouldnt hesitate to go see the Horse again. I just dont know about this current project. and... as Strat said, he is old, ya never know. ( hope its not, hope he keeps rocking forever)

either way, going to see Buddy Guy tonight at Summerfest, maybe just being down on the grounds will make me buy up some NY tickets while im there.

a lot of rain, a lot of pot, and a hauntingly beautiful setlist from Young Neil a few nights back at Red Rocks...
