Agreed. Loved having that dude even just for a year. My favorite story about OV was when his hitting coach from 97-99 (forget who) was asked about him he said he asked OV to bunt 45 times total in those three years and he got every bunt down. Hard to argue with 2877 hits and 11 gold gloves at a premium defensive position.

I had to look this up cause it seemed like he was in Texas for longer than that. I dunno why, but I would've guessed he spent 2-3 years there.

I think their hitting coach was Charlie Manuel.

Kaius is up, he'll be around when he's 20 minutes away from getting skipped.

Elvis Andrus was a rookie that year and only 20 (until August) so Daniels wanted a vet SS to plug in there and not lose anything and who could spot start at 2nd and 3rd. All the vets raved about his baseball knowledge and think he can manage some day.

Nope. Cool though. She swings the other way...no pun intended. Her GF is smoking hot.

So I was just fooling around whatif, and I wasn't in the dream team settings, but I took a classic team and went to edit the lineup and it looks like you can assign any position to any player, regardless of where they really played.
It makes sense that you can do this since they take into account defense and positioning, so you could play a guy out of position but it might fuck you in the field.
Lament, your thoughts?

I was wondering this myself, if I put say Albert Belle in CF would that affect my teams defense negatively?

I should stick Pudge (RODRIGUEZ) in left just because.

I like it because it means you can take a guy that played multiple positions and put him in the slot you want, even if the year your taking had him playing somewhere else.
