Yeah overall takk is better. Agaetis just has my favorite song on it

I love taak. And Milano might be one of the most underrated sigur ros songs.

It's on its own 10'' in the LP package, so you've got to listen to sides A and B of an LP before throwing on the 10'' for just Milano. Really makes you sink into the song as it's presented all on its own.

I'm all in on this Takk love. I think it's also my favorite Sigur Rós album. "Glósóli," "Gong," "Milanó," "Sæglópur," and "Sé lest" are all great songs.

I repeatedly go back to Agaetis for "Olsen Olsen" - it's sublime - but Takk is their masterpiece

I mean, to my ears there is no bad Sigur Ros album. Basically I just went off of which albums have the songs I listen to the most at this point, but I listen to whole albums with these guys probably more than any other band.

that is the album that got me into sigur ros. as much crap as i give pitchfork, they introduced me to sigur ros through that album in like 2002 or whenever it came out. it was weird. it was different. it was like nothing i had ever heard before. and it was something i loved from the get go. so that album will always hold a special place in my heart.

but if i'm ranking, i'm going with the following:
