Josh Homme would be interesting. Butch Vig still would be my preferred option though.

Actually anyone but BOB would be my preferred option.

Butch Vig barely produces anymore. He's produced a total of like eight records outside of Garbage in the last twenty years. And nearly all of them were by pop-punk/emo bands (AFI, Against Me!/Tom Gabel, Jimmy Eat World, The Subways, Green Day, Never Shout Never). I'm not sure what he can do for Pearl Jam in 2015. Except maybe get them a lot of press with "PEARL JAM WORKS WITH LEGENDARY NIRVANA PRODUCER" type articles. They definitely need to work with someone new, but going back to someone else who peaked in 1994 probably isn't going to do the trick.
