The Broncos should have similarly brought in some important Dolphin when Miami knocked the Pats out of the #1 seed in Week 17 of 2015 and forced them to travel to Denver for the AFCCG.
Seems like we in the AFCW should all be Dolphin fans.
They also do a pretty good job against the Raiders: 15-5 since 1988.
Ha!
Go Dolphins!

He didn't lose the game either. He just was there.

Well, he did throw a bad interception, ... and look at his stats. This was not a good game for him.

Stats aren't everything. Other than the bad pick I never thought to myself, "Oh man, Tannehill is really hurting the Titans here."

I like the version of the story that the Dolphins and then Tannehill ended the Patriots dynasty. I'm sticking with it as long as I can.

I like the story too. Problem is it's false.

I was out in Utah last week during/after the game wearing a Dolphins beanie, it was fantastic how many people came over to me and said "thank you" after the game.

Our time has come. Feeling great about this year. Feel weird about firing O'Shea and hiring Chain Gaylee as OC... but I trust Flores. Must've known something we don't. Maybe he wasn't even responsible for the passing game success. I dunno.
Anyway, feeling good about this year. I'm actually hoping for Tua, if his health is OK for now or even the near future. Wouldn't be totally upset about Fitzpatrick starting, although history shows that after a great year and extending his contracts, he typically plays terribly the following year. So probably won't work out and THEN can bring in the new QB. I dunno. It feels good right now though.

If the Patriots keep Brady and get two decent receivers, then I'm afraid next year won't be your year

Rumor is the Dolphins like Herbert more than Tua. And the plan is to bring Rosen back next year.

Maybe I just haven't seen enough of Herbert, I get being leery of Tua's injury history, Other than Herbert's being the right size, I don't get the fascination with Herbert. I'd like him a lot better as a 2nd or 3rd round pick. I don't believe he's a franchise QB right now. Just my opinion.
Watching him at the end of last year, I mean he's mobile, he's obviously talented, but I don't think he's going to step in and be better than say Josh Rosen (next year)
I think it's going to take him a while to adapt to the NFL. Not the best recipe for a guy picked 5th overall.

they have no choice but to bring Rosen back because his trade value is about as down as it can get (which is to say, zero)
If Tua is there at 5 and they pass I'll be pissed...if Tua is there at 5 and they take Herbert instead, I'll be really pissed...if Tua's medicals don't check out then that's one thing but assuming they do and he's where he should be, that should be the pick.

I'm fine bringing Rosen back. Cheap contract, no trade value. There's basically no risk keeping him again.
I've learned that I don't know anything about projecting who's going to be good, but I'm not impressed with Herbert. I'd be pissed if Miami took him over Tua.
