Wish grabbed me on first listen, a lot of the catalogue took longer

I'm feeling really good about my choice here, team.

I think it’s important to understand the band’s meandering creative evolution during their “classic period” (which I’d extend to the release of Burn on The Crow soundtrack in 1994, the last studio recording with Boris).
Standing on a Beach does a pretty good job of giving a chronological overview of the first (and arguably most important) portion of those years, it’s a huge shame it’s not on streaming.
Let’s Go To Bed is more impactful in context of having directly followed Pornography, for instance.

There are a few good playlists that compile the songs off both Standing and Staring, at least on Spotify. Paris is another great departure point from the hits

This doesn’t align with what everyone is repeatedly playing on Hoffman. I’m seeing DR6 for all high res versions.
The Atmos is DR10.
yes, seems like it's a downmix of the atmos to stereo. not sure if that's such a good thing now... i know 0 about atmos, not sure if there is any loss in doing that.

This must be the best album released by a band with almost 50 years of career
Really, I don't remember another band this age releasing something this impactful

In Orange is as good as it gets for The Cure, I used to watch the VHS religiously.
I don't think they were ever better (and at least Lol agrees).
They went straight into recording Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me in France right after this show too.

This is one of those bands I wish I could "be more into" but somehow can't.
I can gobble up like two songs back to back, but I turn into Butthead on the third song.
