if your liberal friends call out ALL Christians for being intolerant about gay rights then your friends are idiots. But I'm not sure being consistently idiotic is an improvement.

Nobody thinks Kim Davis represented ALL Christians, but that didn't stop anybody (including myself).

But there are dangerous numbers of people who do think that these terrorists DO represent all muslims, or at least a latent tendency in all of them waiting to be activated.

And I presume none of your liberal friends responded to Kim Davis by calling for all Christians to be locked up, bombed, their religion banned, called a threat to national security, etc.

Again, you are conflating religion with individual (as always comes up in this PC response to criticizing Islam). No one is saying people aren't complicated or that all Muslims are bad people. Stop jumping to that shit. But you bet your ass I am condemning the ideology. No quarter for that kind of backwards bullshit.

Guys, not all Muslims are bad people. They just all believe bad things.

Yes, because so many people in this thread have said that all Muslims should be locked up and Islam should be banned. Jesus.

No one in this thread (although I only read the pages since the attacks) said that. But these are beliefs in the United States and around the world that have considerable traction, enough to get people elected and become platform points for people aspiring to power. And that's why this is more dangerous than the Kim Davis false equivalency.

Why are you arguing with people who aren't here?

I'm also (mostly) arguing with:

The other stuff was really a side point that anti muslim bigotry is currently much more dangerous to muslims (in the west anyway) then similar blanket comments and beliefs about Christians. I suppose it's possible no one disagrees with that.

I understand that these terror cells are all over the place but can we just start by dropping a nuke on the mid east?

Just maybe wait for the kneejerk reaction before having your own kneejerk reaction. You're pre-emptively kneejerking.
