It’s going to suck. It’s going to try way too hard to be its own thing and ppl will be like “I just want a normal Batman movie ffs”

I dunno that last trailer showed some promise

One thing I've noticed about this release cycle, in contrast to the last time there was a live-action standalone Bats movie, is that I feel no personal investment in this thing being good. Back then, it felt real high stakes for me whether I liked a Batman movie or not. I guess that was 10 years ago now so it makes sense that it doesn't feel the same anymore
Now imagine being in your 40s and caring about Captain Marvel
I don't know if my own personal investment in this is any higher or lower than previous bat-films. But I do think this movie looks interesting and I'm very excited to see it.

I may be in Austin next weekend. We should go see it.
Only if we can sneak in without paying.
Ehhh, I don't know about that. Let me think.

I got kicked out of the theater once for sneaking into Gigli. Not worth it.

Since they closed down the ticket booths and moved buying tickets to the concession stand, you can just walk right in. It's great.

Keaton might not be the best Batman, but he's the best Bruce Wayne.

I actually really liked Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne but his movies were not good as a whole. I didn’t like that version of Batman.

I'm not saying he's a bad actor, I just don't like his flavor
