Yeah I’ve used it a lot for exercise data. I’m only around 5-7 pounds less than the ideal weight for my height and age.

BMI is a b*llshit metric tho.
I've also reached out and we may have a VERY special guest in this thread soon. Big deal.
Verb?!
A chaos poster of his caliber would be more than welcome in this thread, which thrives on silliness blended with moments of sincere weight loss support and counsel.
Not sure I would count on verb to provide support or counsel
He'd give some much needed "tough" love kinda support. I also suspect - and might remember - that he's a skinny dude.

BREAKING: Earlier today, I reached out to a prominent member of the RM The Weight Loss Thread community. I extended an invitation to this thread. A special guest, I thought, would serve us well. Unfortunately, he declined in a rather polite manner to me.

I've made a counterproposal (of sorts) that I think this person is now considering. Still, like waiting for a girl to text you back on a dating app...many minutes have gone by and I fear this opportunity is null and void.

UPDATE: Still haven't heard back yet.

Here are a few passive aggressive ways to tell a loved one(s) that NOW is the time to lose weight:

https://www.thestar.com/life/2017/10/09 ... ellie.html

Key points to make:

“You’re already skinny, why are you going to the gym?”

“I hate when skinny people act like they’re fat.”

Try these and let me know. Thanks.

I've lost 5 or so pounds this year, but I'm hoping to stabilize at about 185. I'm trying to put on a little muscle and lose some belly fat.
Congrats on losing five pounds. That's a decent amount of weight. I started to move around and feel better at that point.
Thanks, I had my foot amputated so unfortunately it hasn't improved my mobility.
Did your foot weigh 5 pounds?

Weirdly it’s dropped and I haven’t been exercising much the last few weeks. Maybe I didn’t check as often and there was water weight, but it seemed like I was consistently 147-148 the last few months

I haven't been exercising as much the last three weeks and I am paying the price haha. Good for you. Probably some water weight.

I just read up on that....sounds brutal except the part about weight loss. Not worth it.
