Tell me why foxcatcher is bad. I haven't seen it yet
It's the epitome of liberal condescension. An arthouse cartoon. One of the most mean-spirited movies I've ever seen. Completely without insight into or understanding of its characters. It's close to self-parody. God I hate it. Bennett Miller is an asshole.
Surprised you didn't get this film. If anything, Foxcatcher paints and incredibly sympathetic portrait of all it's characters.

Maybe it's you who cannot empathize with them? But I wouldn't say I blame you if that's the case.

I know you're trolling a bit, but don't be dumb. I empathize with the real people without issue. Miller's characters are smug, condescending cartoons of how the left views the right. Mark Schulze himself even recognized this and called Miller out as the asshole he is.

Well saying shit like "you just didn't get it" and "maybe you just couldn't empathize with them" is pretty trollish. That's a little past just saying you see it differently.

The 4th one is pretty good for what it is. The 5th is an abomination - I don't know who thought it was a good idea to suck all the color and humor out of Die Hard.

Oh yeah, no question. Fuck Mel Gibson and his anti-Britain propaganda films.

I watched Pitch Perfect again last night. Probably the 5th or 6th time I've seen it. Fucking thing just keeps getting better and better.
