Sorry man. My previous dog suffered from seizures, it is painful to watch. But he always appreciated the comfort during and afterwards. One of ours now has them. He’s been on meds for about a year and half now and they help tremendously. Hope it works for you Burt.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Sorry man. Her channel has grown a lot in popularity over the last couple weeks, which is great... but I need to stop looking at the comments. 97% of them are positive but then there'll be a few deeply bitter losers who try to bring her down and my protective big brother instinct takes over and I want to throw down in the comments. She couldn't be less bothered and I'm here foaming at the mouth like an idiotJorge wrote:My sister just launched a YouTube channel last week. I've been helping her get it set up, teaching her how to edit her own videos, scheduling posts, and stuff like that. She's still at very low numbers but steadily growing. It's amazing to me that even at this low level she's still getting comments from absolute weirdos fantasizing about marrying her, or giving her unsolicited advice about her looks. These losers are everywhere

Re: Talk about your day thread
Hope the doggo gets gooder quick. We had to put down our 13 year old cat on Monday afternoon. He was getting older and went really downhill the past few weeks, losing weight in front of our eyes, likely diabetes and cancer, at risk of having seizures.
He was my daughter's cat and she loved him. I thought he was a food-focussed prick, but I am sorry for her and to see him go (mostly).
We knew he was close on Saturday and arranged for a vet to do a home visit as he was terrified of the car. The vet was lovely and did a great job, Tuna died in my daughter's arms, which is where he would have wanted to be.
Going downhill fast can be a small mercy to be honest - he didn't suffer which is important. Hope your pooch picks up and you and he have many moments left.

Re: Talk about your day thread
That sucks Higgs - having recently watched our cat go through something similar I know how absolutely heartbreaking that can be. I'm still pretty thankful that our girl decided to go off on her own terms as the vet visits were really getting to me.
Hope your doggo continues to improve Burt!!

Re: Talk about your day thread
The reason its so bad is beacuse.....
Animals - Well, they dont have the same emotional reaction to the pain and suffering/end of life. They literally go and go and go until they can absolutely not go any further. All just to please their owners.
Its pure love.
ANd one day it just....stops....
and its so fucking heartbreaking. Perfect creatures.
