I somehow thought he directed a monster calls. Which is powerful.

He didn’t.

yeah, awful movie too. Im so glad they kicked him out. This one would have been a travesty.

Well my point was they want to hire talent but also hire directors that will bring in over a billion at the box office

I think we’re being primed to see Anakin in this. I’m more excited about Richard E Grant than a man my age should be.

I posted about the Mandalorian in the messenger group I have with the people I am seeing TROS with, and was met with dead silence. Not deterred, I posted two days later about how good the first episode was, and asking if they had no interest in it. No Disney+ and general apathy towards it was the answer I got. And they all liked or loved TLJ, which I was full of criticism for. Weird. Still they seem moderately excited for TROS, although not on an Avengers-level.
