the new arcade fire is really making me want to listen to lightening bolt.
But to be fair, I'm not really a fan going in and that record seems constructed to push all the wrong buttons I have.

I have a song by song first listen experience up in OB. I really didn't like it outside of the first 5 minutes of Reflektor. Overlong songs I didn't enjoy that much drowning in pretentious affectations. There were parts of almost every song I liked quite a bit, but never close to enough.
I am not a big fan of Wyn Butler's voice, so that's a strike against. When they do straight up rock songs I think they're quite good. But this album was way too precious for my tastes.
