Not sure why the size of the gun matters. Gun nuts like to carry the biggest thing they're legally allowed to carry.

so we have kids running around with giant guns at a public event with 800 armed cops on hand. and the guys who took the shooter down didn't have guns. am i getting all of this right?

there's no reason a civilian should have access to whatever the fuck that kid was running around with. i dunno where the line should be, assault rifles, semi-automatic guns, etc. but at this point in history if you don't think we have a problem in this country with gun access you are just blind. gun nuts hear the word 'regulations' and act like someone is trying to sodomize them on the spot. we need stronger gun laws, there's no other way to look at this anymore.
