I just got home but I listened to most of the game on the drive.

For as bummed as I am that my team got beat/choked away the series, I'm happy for lifelong Cleveland fans and their players. This is why we all watch sports, for players/teams to be transcendent, underdogs to go toe to toe with the favorites, and to ultimately be entertained.

I have a few more thoughts, but it is late and I want to watch GOT before I go to bed.

Why isn't anyone talking about those puke t-shirts the Cavs wore?

Not really a basketball fan but I switched over after GoT. What a thrilling finish; I'm actually kind of happy for Cleveland. Now that it's got that gorilla off it's back what's the more forlorn US sports city? The nominees are San Diego, Houston, Cincinnati, and Atlanta.

Buffalo only has two major sports franchises though.
Minneapolis should be in discussion too & it's been a while since DC ('92) was won anything. You can probably make a case for any of those.

So how's the wrist LeBron? Oh right, that was just another LeBron performance of layering on the dramatics...5 minutes later he pounds the floor with the same hand after winning. Then came the crocodile tears and attempt to recreate the Jordan reaction in 1996.

shit like that just solidifies why people hate him. Yes he is good, and yes he cemented his legacy by winning in Cleveland.

So happy for Cleveland. So happy to not have to hear about this Golden State dynasty and its one title.

So moving forward...Lebron has three rings (he flashed that three sign to the Golden State crowd, which means it's all about him, ya know). So if it's about him....does he still have time for three more to catch MJ??????

Yeah, this series (and his performance in last year's Finals) has really cemented his legacy as a top 5 or 6 guy to me. He was incredible in this series (antics aside) and clearly the best player in the league when he is fully engaged.

I can't get over that block.

As much as I wish it'd be a play when he was with Miami, I think there's a chance that block might be THE iconic play of his career.

If Lebron was faking that injury it was probably to get a breather before the free throws, which is actually pretty smart. The emotion after the game was absolutely real.
