Negative Space by Queens of the Stone Age.
Was unimpressed with the live version pre-album release but the real deal is a beaut. Kind of like a Domesticated Animals 2.0.

New Music Friday rolls around again.
Spoon - Silver Girl (this should have been on their last record rather than a B-side)
YYY - Spitting Off the Edge of the World (the "lush version", which might be better than the take on the record)
Swans - No More of This (I have a lot of work to do to catch up with Gira's music properly)
Cory Hanson - Housefly (hard not to like the sound of that guitar)
Albert Hammond Jr - False Alarm (the track that stood out the most on first spin of his newie)
Portugal. The Man - Doubt (could be a grower)

I don't think Spoon have ever released anything sub-5 (out of 7).
I liked the Spitting off the Edge of the World single enough. I'll check out the lusciousness.
