this is the script used for countdown #2:

you'll notice that when the time's up it calls a function called do_reveal with '2' as its parameter

this will load this page:
http://pearljam.com/ajax/do_reveal.php?rid=2

the content isn't there yet but the countdown3 placeholder div is, as well as a call to the countdown function with said div as its parameter

you can see the days/hours/minutes thing in the countdown2.js script, I assume after the do_reveal function at the end of the current countdown is called these values are used as starting values for the 3rd countdown


unrelated but the name of the new pic is 0709143136MYM-WEDNESDAY-NEW.jpg so it definitely looks like it's the single artwork
