Not knowing the exact goings-on with the band, and just going by what I’ve read on here and other websites, and what the members of PJ do in public...

Since Eddie Vedder is most likely the “celebrity member” and doing his own things, he probably has no real desire or inclination to jump in and do any hard work to create songs. He’s got his celeb buddies, his wife and kids, solo stuff. He’s probably ok with that. Jeff does his solo/other band stuff and has that to fall back on, but sounds like he’d like to get back at it as PJ. Mike basically has nothing going on, and Stone probably is fine doing solo or bay leaf whenever. Matt just is probably like “hit me up whenever”

Probably no real drive to get anything out there at this stage of their career. I guess we’ll get new music whenever. Sucks but oh well. I’ll go listen to some other stuff while I wait. Other people are probably doing that to. Some may never come back.

Possible scenario A: He's being secretive and they are actually about to surprise drop a new, completeled album.

Likely scenario: These lazy fucks have done jack shit and it's not without Stone's frustrated efforts.

kudos to mike singing on tv. And doing this thing...yeah, he sounds kinda frustrated when he talks about the band.

I don't know, guys. He doesn't seem frustrated to me as much as he seems like he's hiding something. He looks like he's flat lying. It makes me wonder if they really do have a new record finished and something big already planned for 30 and he's trying not to spoil the "surprise."

Get fucking over it. Stone Gossard’s face at the rrhof was the final nail in the coffin and good on him. The lead singer and star of the band is a prick.

Quickly releasing a crappy album they aren’t proud of is a far more likely scenario.
