All the middle-aged people in my audience sure that it was HILARIOUS when they showed the insides of the parents' minds. I hate people near me in a cinema. An almost empty screening is perfect for me.

My breaking point was about 7 yrs ago and in a packed theatre there was someone eating a kebab next to us and in front a guy had a six pack with some fish and chips. WTF?

Wow. I love going to the movies, but the so-called "communal experience" is the single biggest discouraging factor.

People are the worst.

This is why I love the Drafthouse. You can see movies with a theater full of people and they actually behave.

One of my most shameful moments was going to a movie completely drunk, dropping an empty wine bottle, and then hearing it roll down every step very very loudly all the way to the bottom. It seemed to take forever.

I'm not proud of that, but looking back its kinda funny.
