So this thing at midnight (tonight/tomorrow morning) will this be the full metal door version of Dark Matter? or just an officially released snippet of the metal door version?

Awfully disrespectful to fans that work the night shift to release this thing at midnight. Shame on you, Pearl Jam!

Well if it’s like DOTC, it won’t leak and they’ll release a part of the song halfway through the day.

FWIW (which may not be much)...

Don't know if anyone shared this already or not, but the Bill Simmons podcast swapped out the usual Corduroy Live intro for the 30-second Dark Matter snippet last night. It was, unfortunately, the same snippet we'd all already heard. He made some mention of the irony that a day dominated by Taylor Swift ended with new music from PJ and a new album and tour coming.

Right!

Thanks!

I’m an ass
You aren't. Saying "midnight" has caused so much confusion that the UK government addressed this in their style guide for designing services for citizens

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/style-guide ... v-uk-style

"Midnight is the first minute of the day, not the last. You should consider using “11:59pm” to avoid confusion about a single, specific time.

For example, “You must register by 11:59pm on Tuesday 14 June.” can only be read one way, but “You must register by midnight on Tuesday 14 June” can be read in two ways (the end of Monday 13, or end of Tuesday 14)."

Another blunder from 10C
I’m still an ass because I added 13 and 24 and ended up with 27

lol leave it to Pearl Jam fans to get into arguments about time technicalities while waiting for a new song to drop. This is the text equivalent of being in the merch line the day before a show.

I've had that bass line from door track #2 in my head all weekend. That's a good sign.
