I'm not really a huge fan of sweets, but I do enjoy white chocolate, which has to be one of the most widely-derided sweets around.

I don't mind white chocolate. I just wish it was called something else. It doesn't really taste like chocolate.

Avocados play a (in my opinion, extraneous) role in a lot of traditional Colombian meals such as bandeja paisa and sancocho, as well as being eaten straight up with a spoon. No thanks

Gotcha. Mexican food is definitely where they shine the most, so I'm not surprised that made you like them.
