The one time I pre-order a game.
Can't resist that sizeable install base.scrub12 wrote:Honestly, a game that’s supposedly as massive as Cyberpunk is should just pull the plug on last gen, but it won’t. My hope is that Halo Infinite’s delay makes them go full next gen too.
All of the above, and more!tree_ wrote:Cyberpunk seems a bit ambiguous to me. Is it going to be more like GTA or Bioshock or what?
I would have preferred 1 AAA game at launch vs. several good games at launch. I think Horizon or Halo would have done that. How great was Switch & Zelda on day 1? Best system / game launch ever!Monkey_Driven wrote:I've said it before in this thread, but the PS5 has one of the better launch lineups ever. Several games are available on last gen hardware, sure, but they have better versions on the PS5. Miles Morales, Sackboy, Demon's Souls, Assasin's Creed, Cyberpunk, and even Astro Bot's playroom all appear to be quality titles in a variety of genres.
That being said, I totally understand being a little underwhelmed. The PS4 didn't really get going until Year 2 or so. If you are looking to play new titles only available on new hardware, you'll probably be waiting at least another 6-12 months.
Miles Morales is a pretty big game. While we don't know the exact length of the game, it is a standalone sequel/side-sequel to the 4th best selling game on the PS4.CopperTom wrote:I would have preferred 1 AAA game at launch vs. several good games at launch. I think so, but I'd rather it be delayed and be more polished. I know lots of people are rabid for it.JuanHamm wrote:At this point could Cyberpunk possibly live up to the hype?
I just hope it runs better and has more enjoyable combat than the Witcher. If I'm going to play a game for 50+ hours, it better be a blast to do the little stuff each time.Orpheus wrote:I think so, but I'd rather it be delayed and be more polished. I believe you can control how intense the vibrations are with three different settings (high, medium, low). There could be an option to turn it off, but that may be embargoed.scrub12 wrote:The controller sounds like it can do some awesome things and yet annoy the shit out of me at certain times. I hope there are options to turn some of that stuff off.
