If it were super-serious and self-aggrandizing, it would be--but the hosts are wonderfully self-depreciating, and you don't have to be a diehard EU person to get all the references. It takes a while to get there, though--the first 30 or so episodes of Star Wars are rough. I also enjoy their "the Force is fake" half-theory.
