China has essentially been an enormous cunt to Australia over the past year or so, specifically in the area of trade and economic sanctions. Its all a big bully push to try and squash us and assert their economic dominance (and push their own political and ideological agenda). We get it - you're bigger than us and you want to make sure we know it.

The likelihood of China invading Taiwan is a definite concern. If that happens I'm pretty sure we'll have to go to at least "Struth" Level alert.

The likelihood of China invading Taiwan is low. China will just slowly economically crush them until they bend the knee by forcing them to spend enormous amounts of time and resources on the nationalistic illusion they could repel said invasion without nuking mainland China
