Also a big big fan of WWS. Not only the memories of how the snippets of the song got into some radio, but the actual release of the single and being blow away. I love the guitars, Ed's vocals, the chrous, the bridge.

I too really like this album. I think the only song I don't really like is Inside Job, it's not bad though.

i get why people are turned off by Comatose, but i love it. The energy, the guitars, and i do like ed's ragged vocals here. The attitude is contagious...imagine PJ's last song with Riot Act and now this burst of rock and roll energy...i loooove this song.
Mike's solo is awesome. Sounds like Thayil.

yeah, Severed Hand. Might be my favorite with Life Wasted from this album. The buildup, the guitars, Ed's voice is so good. Remember the SNL performance? classic.
And that jam at the end?? jesus what a monster.

Marker...i would say its the first from this album that i dont care much. It feels like there is a great song there, but its not quite finished. The chorus is good, but weird.
Matt's drums are so good here. Jeff too. This Spotify mix is so much better with this song.

Parachutes is a welcome quiet and lovely song. Im not a huge fan of ed's layered vocals. Thats why live this is better. But the guitars are lovely, and there is a pretty cool groove.
Cool chorus too.

I cant believe there is people who dont like Unemployable. Matt' s drums are so so good. Really. All the little details he is doing...the guitars...jeff owns this song too.
I love Stones guitar during the chorus. Looove it.

It also feels like a song it could have been done on Riot Act. It has that pop element it appear in that album. But im really happy they did it on this album, because the energy is so much different.
I think most of this renewed energy came from the 2005 tour. They really went for it and had an amazing tour.

Big Wave is tricky. Its not a song i need to hear but when it appears its just a joy. The music is awesome. The guitars, Jeff...the solo is fucking good. Yeah the lyrics are stupid, but they arent trying to do anything else.
Feels like one of those songs they used to do for the Music For The Mother Ocean compilation from back in the day.
I love it.

Gone. I never cared much for the demo. Or the Las Vegas version with Ed. I was super happy to hear what the band did with that demo, and i do believe the song is better.
At the time i thought this one was going to become big as Given To Fly or something...boy i was wrong. Its a weird song...i like it enough but i dont need to hear it really. The band is awesome but at the same time...its just meh.
I dont know.

I should listen to this album on Spotify soon, with my new headphones. I'm not an audio guy or a musician, so maybe it'll all go right over my head. But I'm curious if I might have a slightly different experience than what I remember.

I don’t understand why this song isn’t more popular. I think it’s a monster, and the bridge is a catalog highlight.
It is!! I think its popular. For some reason the band doesnt play it much these days.

The way the instrumental bridge from Marker races into that last verse is probably one of my favorite moments the band has had post-Riot Act.

Phenomenal song hindered by production.
