I was disappointed to find this isn't the thread for General Pearl Jam and all her complaints. I like her and she needs her own thread.

I passionately hate how on the official bootlegs they put all the talking between songs at the end of the track.

If you listen to tour PJ catalog on shuffle you end up listening to Jeremy, then Ed talks about the next song (say Off He Goes), then the next song comes up as RITFW.

The talking should come at the start of the track so you hear the song he introduces. Ugh.

Yeah I don't want to hear talking before a song. I want to hear the song

Or they could make the talking separate tracks. Then they're easily skippable or selectable when required.

They should have separate tracks for songs/random stories:

This was my biggest peeve from the days of Pearl Jam audience recording; hundreds of “Ed talks” tracks.

Easily the worst of all outcomes.

As a DMB fan, the days of DaveSpeak tracks (and non-seekable SHNs) were the worst... THE WORST.

50% of the tracks would be tainted with rambling

and you'd have one-off, massive delays

you could end up with a 17-minute version of Soon Forget just because he went on a rant for 16 minutes about the hawaiian store where he buys ukes
