I really wanted to like it. I liked Won't Back Down or whatever it's called and a couple of the other tracks showed promise, but you're right - all up this album sucks hard

Silversun Pickups' Physical Thrills is... okay. I really like the first two tracks at least.

Top albums of the year for me, so far:

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There
MJ Lenderman - Boat Songs
Big Thief - Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You
Destroyer - Labyrinthitis
Earl Sweatshirt - Sick
Wet Leg - Wet Leg
Horsegirl - Variations of Modern Performance
Kurt Vile - (watch my moves)
Spoon - Lucifer on the Sofa
Chat Pile - God's Country

Could change, and not in any particular order, but BCNR is almost certainly #1 and Lenderman is gonna end up near the top too.

Well I can see why people were pissed that The 1975 replaced Rage at the Reading and Leeds festivals

A few months late, but Placebo's Never Let Me Go is... pretty average. The lyrics are absolutely horrific but if you can look past that then there's some neat stuff going on.

Alright now I'm cleansing the palette with Beach House's Once Twice Melody. This shit bangs.

I mean, it sounds fine. They didn't really do anything with it.

this hate for The National is silly.

some of you aren't divorced dads, and it's showing.

perfect song to cover for them, but I found the production / instrumentation a bit underwhelming
