I have to admit that this is one of my favorite albums, the first 4 songs are kinda interchangeable, 5-7 are also favs and I love pretty much every song except for comatose and maybe big wave.

Just looking at my top 8 thinking how close this album was to being great. Throw in Cold Confession, let Ed write some lyrics to Inside Job, somehow combine the organ in Wasted Reprise with the guitar lick in Life Wasted and juice it up somehow, tighten up the production on the whole thing, etc... etc... This really could have been a stellar album.

Even more so when you hear Ed talk about how easy it would have been to turn it into an album narrative / rock opera-esque connected story about a dude going to war in the middle east and coming home....
