So is it a fan on the board that came to get a copy of these demo's? Or was it a fan not on the board who just let us all know that he/she has them.. I don't need to hear them now,be cool to read some thoughts on them though.

I just hope the boys got some adventurousness left in em, if it doesn't happen now, I don't think it ever will again.

sounds like ed has his own successful musical avenue and doesnt feel/want/need to control the pearl jam product anymore. it's too bad because im not a fan of the rest of the bands side projects.

I think Vedder ceded absolute control after No Code.

Off topic, but I think the other members are better than 50% on their side projects...at least I really liked Tres Mts, RNDM, Three Fish, Bayleaf, and at least "The Forest" off Jeff Ament's first solo album (I don't have the second). I've never been much of a Brad fan, but frankly haven't really listened since Shame, so that might be my fault.

Pretty sure we already read that quote somewhere, in a fairly recent interview. It's not really 'on PJ's new album', more a generalised comment about band dynamics (yawn).
